Dr. Homaira Ahmed MD  |  Internal Medicine

      Dr. Homaira Ahmed is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to providing exceptional patient care with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine. Since beginning her practice in 2016, she has been committed to improving health outcomes through personalized treatment plans and comprehensive wellness strategies. She specializes in adult care, including physical exams, well-women exams, chronic disease management, and Medicare annual wellness visits.
      Dr. Ahmed earned her medical degree through the prestigious seven-year program at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at NYU Langone Winthrop University Hospital, where she honed her expertise in evidence-based care.
      

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in medical research and quality improvement initiatives. She has received multiple scholarships and grants throughout her career, underscoring her dedication to advancing healthcare standards. She also serves on quality control boards for various healthcare organizations, ensuring the highest levels of patient safety and medical excellence.

Rabab Arastu, RN, DNP, FNP-C

​Rabab Arastu is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation in pediatrics, critical care, and primary care. With nearly a decade of healthcare experience, she is now excited to bring her skills and passion to Wellspring Medical Care Clinic.

Rabab earned both her Doctorate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Health San Antonio and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. She is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed in the state of Texas.

After years of caring for patients in both outpatient and high-acuity hospital settings, Rabab is dedicated to helping clients feel confident and refreshed by enhancing their natural beauty through safe, personalized treatments. She believes in the powerful connection between appearance and well-being and strives to deliver results aligned with each individual’s goals.

Known for her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and collaborative approach, Rabab looks forward to building long-lasting relationships and helping her clients look and feel their best.

Saad Mehfooz – Office Administrator | Director

​      Saad Mehfooz is a dedicated leader with a passion for business management, healthcare innovation, and community service. Based in Tomball, Texas, he plays a key role in supporting local businesses and healthcare services, ensuring efficiency and accessibility for the community. His work extends beyond Tomball, covering the Greater Houston area to enhance healthcare and business operations.
      As the Founder of AmericanEMR, Saad has helped revolutionize medical record-keeping, providing healthcare providers with a simple, easy, and affordable digital solution. His expertise in healthcare business administration and online marketing gained from the University of East London and Drexel University allows him to bridge the gap between technology and patient care.
​      Saad has also been actively involved in serving his local community. He previously volunteered with the Klein Volunteer Fire Department, where he supported emergency response and community safety efforts.

 Beyond his professional work, Saad is committed to philanthropy. He co-founded MUM Relief, a nonprofit supporting impoverished families in Pakistan, and launched Pink Mission to increase breast cancer awareness and improve access to mammography machines.
      With a strong dedication to both healthcare and community empowerment, Saad continues to drive positive change both in Tomball, Houston, and beyond.

Amber Kureshi | Care Coordinator

Amber Kureshi serves as the Care Coordinator at Wellspring Medical Care, where she is dedicated to helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with compassion, professionalism, and personalized support.
Amber brings valuable experience in patient care, medical assisting, mental health outreach, and community wellness programs. She is currently pursuing her Biology studies at Prairie View A&M University and has developed a strong passion for preventive care and patient advocacy throughout her healthcare career.
​As a Care Coordinator, Amber works closely with patients to support scheduling, follow-up care, patient communication, wellness education, and coordination of healthcare services. Her background in clinical settings has provided her with hands-on experience assisting providers with vital signs, injections, patient education, women’s health support, and overall patient care coordination.

Amber also has experience leading community outreach and mental health programs, helping connect individuals and families with important healthcare resources and wellness services across the Houston area. She has collaborated with organizations including Molina Care, United Way Houston, and University of Houston community initiatives to improve patient engagement and access to care.
Her research experience in genetics and skin cancer studies reflects her continued interest in advancing healthcare knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
Amber is a Certified Phlebotomist and is fluent in both English and Urdu, allowing her to better serve patients from diverse backgrounds.
